As part of an extensive redevelopment programme for the centre of Courchevel, the architectural challenge taken up by the creative energy of architect Jean-Philippe Velghe-Michaux was to create a coherent whole incorporating the new tourist office, high-end boutiques and apartments. Based on a slightly toned-down version of the Tyrolean style, this project makes wonderful use of fine materials such as wood, stone and lauze roof tiles.
